POLICY SUMMARY

SERVICE PROVIDER & INSURERS
The Biker Personal Accident & Recovery Plan is provided by Adminicle Limited, by delegated authority from the Insurers set out below:
- SECTION ONE: Biker Personal Accident Cover is underwritten by Certain Lloyds of London Insurers.
- SECTION TWO: Biker Accident Recovery Cover is provided by Call Assist Ltd, Axis Court, North Station Road, Colchester, Essex, CO1 1UX and is underwritten by Groupama Insurance Company Limited, 24 - 26 Minories, London, EC3N 1DE.
Call Assist Ltd and Groupama Insurance Company Limited are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority.
SECTION ONE: BIKER PERSONAL ACCIDENT COVER
ABOUT YOUR POLICY
This Insurance provides personal accident and hospitalisation insurance cover as set out in the Schedule, in the event of a motorbike accident in which you are the licensed driver only.
This insurance only relates to the benefits of the insurance which you request and we agree to insure as shown below.
Cover specific features and benefits (referenced to the sections contained in the insurance document):
Personal Accident
We will pay up to the sum insured shown in the schedule if you suffer bodily injury as a result of a motorbike accident during the period of insurance which results in any of the following:
- Accidental death
- Hospitalisation (cash benefits only)
- Physiotherapy
Significant or unusual exclusions or limitations
We will not pay the following:
- The sum insured for 'death' if the bodily injury does not lead to death within 52 weeks of an accident;
- The hospitalisation per day cash benefit if you are admitted to hospital for a period of less than 24 hours;
- The hospitalisation cash benefits if hospitalisation does not occur within 7 days of the date of the accident;
- The physiotherapy benefit in excess of £50 per session, and in excess of the maximum recoverable limit of £450 per accident; and the physiotherapy benefit if your treatment has not been authorised by Adminicle before you receive the treatment.
- Any benefits in excess of the maximum sum of £4,700 recoverable during the period of this Insurance
SECTION TWO: BIKER ACCIDENT RECOVERY

Recovery after an accident
We will transport you, your motorbike and your pillion passenger to a nominated address within the territorial limits.
Illness / injury
We will transport you, your motorbike and your pillion passenger to a nominated address within the territorial limits.
Theft and Vandalism
If your motorbike is rendered immobile or illegal to ride due to theft or vandalism, We will transport you, your motorbike and your pillion passenger to a nominated address within the territorial limits.
Message Service
We will be happy to pass up to two telephone messages free of charge.
Vehicle Hire, Public Transport Costs and Overnight Accommodation
Alternative Travel*
If our repairing recovery operator is unable to repair your motorbike within the same working day or a period agreed between you and our Rescue Controller, we will pay up to £100.00 (maximum) towards the cost of alternative transport or vehicle hire. We will also pay the cost of a single standard rail ticket for one person to return and collect the vehicle. This service can only be used to complete a journey whilst your vehicle is being repaired a minimum of 20 miles away from your home address.
Emergency Overnight Accommodation*
If we decide to provide alternative accommodation we will pay a maximum of £60.00 for a lone traveller or £40.00 per person for one night for you and your pillion passenger. The maximum payment per incident is £80.00.
*The services will be offered on a pay/claim basis, which means that you must pay initially and we will send you a claim form to complete and return for reimbursement. Before arranging these services, authorisation must be obtained from our Rescue Controller. The policy will only pay for a group 1 hire vehicle rate. We will only reimburse claims when we are in receipt of a valid invoice/receipt.
Please note: - Any motorbike repairs undertaken by our recovery operators at their premises are provided under separate contract between you and the repairer, and shall not be covered by this insurance.
Toll Fees
We will pay ferry and toll fees only within the confines of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.
Change of Motorbike
Our policy covers the motorbike registered on our computer database, therefore any change must be notified immediately either by telephone, fax or in writing. Please include the policy number, new registration, make, model and colour of your motorbike and the date that you wish us to make the change. If you do not notify us of the new motorbike details, we may not be able to supply you with the service.
EXCLUSIONS

Significant Exclusions:
- The cost of parts, components or materials used to repair the vehicle (No.3)
- Any storage charges once the vehicle has been delivered to a nominated address (No.5)
- The cost of alternative transport other than to your home or nominated destination as agreed with our Rescue Controller (No.8)
- The recovery of the vehicle and passengers if a temporary repair can be carried out at or near the scene of the incident within an agreed time, and the vehicle is safe and legal to drive to your destination (no.9)
- Overnight accommodation or car hire charges if repairs can be carried out at or near the scene of the breakdown within an agreed time, and the vehicle is safe and legal to drive to your destination (No.11)
- Any breakdowns or claims not covered by this policy (No.13)
- Loss or damage to the vehicle or its contents at any time (No.18)
- More than three callouts per policy per year (no.25)
- Claims totalling more than £1,500 in any one year (No.26).
